From a Grassroots Response to a Regional Movement
Climate Warden began in Bauchi State as a grassroots response to the visible environmental challenges facing Bauchi State, Nigeria. Recognizing that the youth are the most significant stakeholders in our climate future, we launched this initiative to bridge the gap between climate awareness and community action.
What started as a local movement has evolved into a structured organization dedicated to fostering a generation of environmentally conscious leaders — young people who don't just understand the climate crisis, but are actively equipped to solve it.
Today, Climate Warden is a growing force across Bauchi State, Nigeria, mobilising students, schools and communities toward a resilient and sustainable future — one warden at a time.
